Bema Hotel Stockholm - The Review

Room in the Bema Hotel in Stockholm

The Bema Hotel Stockholm is a small hotel facing Tegnérlunden, a small park in Vasastan, at the northern end of Drottninggatan, the city’s longest and most popular shopping street.

The central station is also only a 10-minute walk away. Notwithstanding its central location, the Bema lies in a quiet residential area.

I stayed here two times. I chose this hotel the first time mainly for its low weekend and summer rates – you won’t find much cheaper in this part of Stockholm – and I believed it was true value for money.

Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, and all have shower and toilet.

I was a little surprised when the receptionist asked me what I wanted to drink with breakfast when I arrived – I got there in the afternoon – but then it turned out the Bema did not have a restaurant or breakfast room.

So… breakfast is served in your room. Don’t worry, you decide how late. The downside is that you don’t have a large buffet like other hotels, where you can take as much food as you like.

Still, a warmly recommended hotel.
