NK Stockholm

NK in Stockholm is the Swedish Harrod's, I heard, but I like Nordiska Kompaniet better. It has an elegance often missed in other department stores. Whatever you buy here it always has style and beauty and the quality is exceptional.

OK, you can find NK in Stockholm opposite the tourist board. There's one in Gothenburg too by the way.

The store interior is beautifully decorated and a tourist attraction on its own. Tourists buy glass design, books about Stockholm, have a snack at one of its eateries or just admire the store.

The fashion department is overwhelming and you WILL get broke here if you buy everything you like. Select carefully. My wife bought satin trousers from the Anna Holtblad collection and if you give her a chance she'll wear it every day.
